I wonder if anyone has asked the asylum seekers if they actually want to live in this building. Can’t imagine they’d feel very safe in there if there were moved in.

This whole mess has taken on a comedic tone almost, with the protestors and Gardai/fire service basically playing whack-a-mole with each other over this site.
I wonder who’s going to win though. If the protestors win then it’s open season on any site marked for asylum seekers anywhere in the country, and if the government wins its then trampling all over community concerns.
In any event, it’s more and more obvious by the day why the Gardai have issue with recruitment when they have to deal with degenerates like that on a daily/regular basis.
