Video doing the rounds reportedly showing yer man doing it, and he’s making threats to those sharing it.
Mcentee is incompetent and should not be in the role, but a minister for justice should not be interfering in police investigations for any reasons. Minister for justice appoints a Garda commissioner, who is also overseen by a policing body who make recommendations on policy for the Garda. Questions on Garda investigations go to the commissioner who will must likely say ‘they do not comment on ongoing investigations’.
And I have absolutely no love for Mcentee. But you left Roderic O’Gorman off the list, the minister whose department are in charge of selecting the site, I believe.

Policing is a for-profit industry. If the actions don’t immediately impact on the profits of the government’s backers, it doesn’t require policing.

If scum like this get to decide who stays in their area I reckon citizens should have the ability to have anyone with more than one conviction removed from their area.
I means it’s only fair, protecting local communities and all that.
