An entire regiment (ish) a day.
Russian losses have been slightly lower over the past two days.
– On the Kharkiv front, the Russian army continues to attack the areas around Vovchansk and Lyptsi, but without success. Despite the arrival of fresh reserves over a week ago, major attacks have not been launched.
– In the Svatove and Severodonetsk regions, the Russian army continues active attacks towards the city of Kupiansk but has not made any progress. On the Luhansk front, high-intensity attacks have persisted, but there are no definite reports of Russian units making advances. Routine positional battles continue on the Siversk front.
– In the Bahmut area, attacks on the city of Tchasiv Yar persist. The attackers are attempting direct assaults and trying to bypass the city from the north, but yesterday they did not achieve success. Very active attacks continue towards Toretsk, and the Russian army has slightly improved its positions near the settlement of New York.
– In the Donetsk region, very intense Russian army attacks are ongoing towards the city of Pokrovsk. Yesterday, the attackers managed to slightly advance their positions in some areas, although they lost an Su-25 attack aircraft in the process. Battles continue in the same locations as in previous weeks in the southern part of the front, with no success for the attackers. The Ukrainian army attacked the Russian air force base in Millerovo, located in Rostov oblast, very close to the Ukrainian border. This base has been repeatedly targeted by Ukrainian forces before. The attacks hit the aircraft parking area and, judging by the fire, also the fuel storage. Millerovo is beyond the firing range of HIMARS systems.
– On the southern front, Russian units conducted several unsuccessful attacks. Russian forces’ activity on the east bank of the Dnieper has noticeably decreased following the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the village of Krynky, but the Ukrainian General Staff reported an attack on Russian army positions yesterday without specifying the location.
