  1. Anywhere that’s not next to a residential dwelling. Or on a road…

In Sweden you have the right to camp for one night almost anywhere. Just don’t disturb anyone else, and don’t litter or start a fire.

Find a lake and put up camp overnight. It will be wonderful. Don’t feed the bears.

  2. Is there any particular reason for you to stay along the Coast? I would say that some of the most beautiful nature that sweden has to offer is around the inland mountain area between Hemavan and Abisko.

  3. You can camp pretty much anywhere as long as it’s not near houses or cultivated land so just find a decent spot

  4. As someone else already said; if you’re not in a rush to get to North Cape you should go for a more inland route. The coast is pretty and all but it’s mostly highway driving and you have the potential to see so much more of the amazing nature Sweden has to offer if you literally choose to take the more scenic route! Best of luck, I hope I too get to go to North Cape someday with the family!

  5. If you’re stopping in the vicinity of Uppsala, try Kungshamn-Morga near Ekoln lake. Beautiful area, there’s a sheltered overgrown cliff overlooking the lake which is a pretty good camping/swimming/fishing spot.

  6. Höga kusten just north of point D is decent to camp. If you guys can spare the time, climb the Skuleberg for the view.

  7. I recommend skipping **E** as there is a high risk you will run into Umebor if you stop there

  8. Remember bug spray and mosquito nets. Mosquitoes will be a bitch overall and tend to catch a lot of people off guard.

I would say in those areas it usually worst early June in the southern parts and late June/early July in the North.

It’s no joke, no diseases or such just very annoying and itchy bites. Had quite a few visitors go “mosquitoes are fine!”, then early into the woods and quickly turn back as they didn’t expect the mosquitoes to create something that looks like fog.
