Well… Until you realize you’re run by clowns whose salaries are paid with your taxes…
Life is not holidays. Try working here and then see if you have the same opinion.
Looks like Marbella
Grass is greener on the other side
Yeah i spent my days swimming in the sea. That was my dayjob, I was a beach tester. Then had some lunch in a terraza with mojitos or sangria. Paella everyday of course.
In the afternoons, after mandatory siesta, I would go to the bars and finally I enjoyed a good night slpeep in a beautiful seaside villa that my family owns, as any other family here.
People are not born rich.
I could explain it to you, but you wouldn’t understand it.
Were is this?
¿Donde?
I lived for the past three years in a Spanish seaside town. I can tell you that most people that live here go to the beach very seldom. Like many other places, it’s a paradise if you’re on vacation or are very wealthy.
Im so glad all the guiris are coming to ruin it
Where in Spain is this?
The neighbour’s lawn is always greener
People living there probably can’t pay rent and the only work they can do in the place they grew up in is as waiters serving tourists
Marbella, right? I only went once last year, in April, for business. It was full of people enjoying life, which made me feel grateful to be there and at the same time miserable because it was for the wrong reason.
💦🔫 Go home!!! 😂
100% agreed. Everyone has their own “happy place” in mind; I’m with the OP on this. It costs nothing to dream…and eventually we may actually get close to it!
Everyone wants what they don’t have.
Meh, I lived on the beach and went probably 5 times in 12 years. Work takes over your life.
Grass is greener on the other side, I also appreciate countries/areas who get more rain and lush forests
Ahhhh yes the Reddit phenomenon where someone says something nice about Spain and you all reply with BuT tHe JoB mARkEt.
Some of you need to get off Reddit and go to the beach…
It’s funny because in real life when I tell Spaniards they are lucky to have been born there, most of them agree, even if they have to travel to other places for work. It’s all about mindset.
I myself like being from Spain probably because I’m not grown yet but there are many people for whom Spain is not paradise
