  1. Personally I just find the bombing of children distasteful no matter who does it, and Israel seem to be doing a lot of it.

  2. It’s astounding how similar Israeli vitriol is to Orange Loyalism – it’s a culture without an identity or a history, so they can only unify their adherents through hatred of everyone else.

Literally, this meme is saying “We protect LGBT Palestinians” while sharing a transphobic cartoon. You cannot make it up.

  3. That irish bloke is the spitting image of me in fairness ..

  4. I’m delighted we’re seen as so against the Israeli government’s genocide that we get our own cartoon.

    I welcome their hatred.

  5. I usually look at any kinda conflict in a very simple way:

The people attacking people in their homes, killing women and children, and carrying out genocide, are usually the bad guys.

The people who are defending their homes and families are usually the good guys.

*This is a very basic view and everything has nuances to consider, but it’s usually not wrong.

  6. Why did he make the Neo-Nazi a racist caricature of a Black guy?

  7. maybe “blowing up children and shooting unarmed civilians for fun is morally offensive no matter who is doing it”

    I think that’s a pretty clear argument.

  8. ‘No other real arguments’ meaning they consider our original one real and legitimate.

    I think that’s a win really

  9. I like how its the opposite of the tik tok kid but its still not valid. Our history makes it so there was more popular support for palastine decades ago than most european countries. My mam had a plo scarf in college. But we need more arguments apparently. More than relating to another Group of humans. Not good enough.

  10. It is like actually incredible racism to make the Irish soyjack non white.

Truly some 1850s bigotry going on there

  11. “Once”?

Edit: now that I think about it, we should be proud that we’re the only nationality to get their own racist caricature.

  12. I got downvited when I commented on a post showing an isreali person joking and mocking that some people don’t have fresh or running water. I did the blinking man meme like…you’re taking the piss out of people who are suffering….because of what your military are doing.

It also does fuck all for your countries image online.

Don’t get me started on the shit they pulled in the Eurovison this year either. What a way to independently make everyone dislike your country.

    Gowls.

  13. You just know the fella that made this was stuck on the Irish one for ages lol, that text cursor was blinking for a *long* time

  14. “Still bitter they didn’t get to go on a birthright trip” is the funniest thing there – giving strong Russian bot vibes lol

  15. What I don’t understand Is why people think calling us out for condemning the bombing of innocent people is wrong nearly 40,000 Palestinian innocents killed how can they justify that.

  16. The term Zionism is generally misunderstood and predates the state of Israel. It’s pretty difficult to explain, but Jews around the world wanted a home which would prevent persecution. Emma Lazarus (who wrote the poem and the statue of liberty) was a Zionist and so was Albert Einstein, but they lived in different eras and the history is pretty long to explain. They most likely had different viewpoints and political affiliations as well.

Theodor Herzl, the spiritual father of the Jewish state, probably had a different viewpoint and he didn’t endorse violence. There is also a long history of charitable donations to support a state in Israel before its conception as we know it today.

I don’t support Bibi, nor the settlements, but obviously the State of Israel and the democratic process. A lot of Israelis think the same (hence the protests), but I’m not an Israeli and you’d probably need to talk to one to get a better idea.

I’m a Irish Jew, so I hope this makes sense.

  17. Surprised the Evaneglical crowd isn’t in this since they believe Israel will be the centre of the apocalypse and the return of Jesus.
