So little for ruining someone’s life. Courts don’t care about the victims, who are responsible for a victim’s income losses? Should the perpetrator be held responsible for some life support payments for the rest of the life or is it already a case and I just didn’t hear about that?
I’ll be honest, having read the headline, I expected to read about a 4 year sentence being increased to 6, and still not thinking that was enough.
2.5 years increased by 9 months, fucking hell.
I get that the justice system needs to be focused on reform, but isn’t there some responsibility to protect the rest of us from a violent criminal who’s prepared to do what this animal did.

Headstomps and head kicks should be automatically classified as attempted murder.
There is no way you can be kicking a guy in the head and not be intending to kill or cause serious injury.
We need to get real with these type of offences. Stamping on people’s heads, abuse of children the elderly etc..Irish society has total contempt for this shit. Sentence’s need to be revised. Some of these fuckers shouldn’t see the light of day again.
