Well makes it pretty obvious why the Germans lost the western front.
How often did mechanics have to pick random crap out the airframes to fix them up after missions like this? It looks fairly likely that they would get hit by debris from time to time anyway.
How many of these planes were destroyed by shrapnel from explosions on the ground? I think there must be several cases
