  1. There’s a piece of metal lodged in the tree in front of him

  2. That’s cool the partisans are out roaming the woods setting fires to ammo dumps and blowing shit up etc but I wonder how the UKR drones can tell they’re friendly? There are lots of single stragglers roaming the countryside there these days, deadly ruzzian war zombies & deranged orcs, plus a few good guys!

  3. [European Drought Observatory](https://drought.emergency.copernicus.eu/tumbo/edo/map/). Its a nightmare for everyone.

Only good news its its been a long while since we’ve seen Russian use of[ 9M22S or 9M28S incendiary rockets](https://armamentresearch.com/soviet-or-russian-9m22s-incendiary-rockets-documented-in-ukraine-2022/) (the one’s that look like a rain of fireworks when detonated). Perhaps stocks are depleted. If Russians had a good sense of Ukrainian locations in tree-lines/wind-breaks, those could be used to effect in these drought conditions.

  4. Easiest way to stop a nightmare is to wake up in your own bed.

  5. hmm so no one does guard duty 100 meters behind their line?

  6. 1 Reason I couldn’t be a front line soldier: Too noisy for adequate sleep (I have two sleep disorders).
