  1. Crazy. 60k is those lucky enough to be identified. Throw in foreign “volunteers”, ethnic minorities, and MIA (likely killed) etc and the figures balloon to double, maybe triple.

    The casualties suffered by Russians during invasion of Afghanistan was one factor that brought down Soviet Union and it was “only” 13,310 killed in action, 35,478 wounded.

  2. When he gets to a spot where there is a general call-up, and more troops start dying from Moscow and St Petersburg, you will start seeing more widespread discontent from the people. So far he has been careful to use ethnic conscripts from the far-flung areas of the “empire,” and foreign fighters tricked into joining in exchange for citizenship.

    As for this 60k, if they have names attached then that’s at least more trustworthy than 90% of claims and estimates in this war. I don’t see that as an unreasonably high number.

  4. The lowest possible number being 60k Kia is pretty unfathomable to be honest. What a grevious error starting this war was.

RIP to the tier level Ukrainian soldiers that fight daily against a beyond-unreasonable and corrupt tyranny… RIP to the loyal Russian soldiers that were supposed to be warriors of virtue, and heroes,—that lost their lives for a coward emperor hiding behind horrific untouched laws and unquestioned power.

    RIP to all lives lost from these corrupt governments that kill people like their lives mean nothings, just to serve them for a psychotic pipe dream. This rant means nothing, but god damn, rest in peace to those that die for a single human beings/cults demands. Stay strong.
