#ReadingRussia How’s the Russian press reporting events in America? One paper today: “As for Russia’s interests, we have no reason to be sad about Biden exiting.” Also, incredible vitriol against Kamala Harris & hopes that a Trump win will enable “substantive Russia-US dialogue.”

  1. Guys, remember when Putin said it would benefit Russia more if Biden remains the president, not Trump. 😂 Aged like milk.

  2. “does not come across as a competent, intelligent person”, well neither do most russians

  3. We need a hero who could record and translate a episode of “60 минут” and share it here.

I think more people should actually hear how unhinged they are ,with all their nuclear threats and Olympic levels of mental gymnastics plus projection.

  4. It’s actually pretty cool for me to get a glimpse at how Putins press has been covering this. None of the rhetoric I heard was surprising, I overhear it from my mom’s tv turned to fox whenever I’m at her house. Amazing we still have Rosenberg there to give us these reports, but after Gershkovich, I worry for him.

Edit: They are clearly butt-hurt Trump will now face a more difficult opponent who would continue Ukraine aid if elected.

  5. I can see the “substantive” dialogue from Russia:

“Give me these Ukrainian territories for free.”

  6. I fail to see what was so wrong with this coverage. It seems much more sober than any of the coverage we get from western media nowadays.

  7. Russian media is of course bashing a non white, female dem potential president. It goes against everything they are paying for

  8. So we all want war to stop and have negotiation or not?

  9. Give it three days until all the Trump voters parrot Russia’s exact arguments.

  10. Liz truss may have been an incompetent half wit, but 99.9% of us had no say in her being prime minister.

At least America gets to choose it’s next moron

  11. How about we don’t even acknowledge they exist until they pull out of Ukraine.

  12. Kremlin has a special dialogue where yes means no and up is down

  13. Just don’t interact with official Russia media. You will not find anything but hatred and lie nowdays. Even the entertainment was taken away from us during the war. The big part of Russia society don’t even watch the TV and prefer alternate sources of information, like YT media from Russian opposition

  14. Remember, if the Russian press are saying bad things about you, you’re probably doing something right.

  15. There’s a reason that the Republican Party identifies as the “red” party…it’s closely aligned with red Russia and re China.

  16. Even if there’s nothing new in this, and also ngl I don’t know any people who read actual newspapers these days, I like Steve Rosenberg’s coverage anyway. I wonder under how much stress he is, being a Western journalist in Russia.

Also, learned a new word today thanks to this! “Augur”. Gotta write that down

  17. Thank you for sharing, these “Reading Russia” are quite interesting.

  18. Fact: any European who is pro Trump is either an idiot or hates a free Europe

  19. Whatever is bad for Russia is good for the rest of the world.

So Biden dropping out is good because it makes Russia mad. Simple, really.

  20. Well, that’s just classical example of degradation of the state when the only competition that still matters there remains to be the competition of better ass kissing of the ruler. Add to this the ambition of becoming global power and you’ll get typical Russia – all the way back in its history to mongol invasion.
Problem is that many Russians who come to Europe had such narratives planted in their heads since their childhood.

  21. trump is putins puppet to of course they want to disparage anyone who gets in the way of americas leaders bending the knee to the kremlin

  22. mmhhh delicious liberal tears, my favorite. I like to remind you all you have 6 months left to adjust to new reality.
