  1. You would think this chump would be trying to keep his nose clean, being on a suspended sentence an’ all.

  2. He comes from a good family. Is well respected in the community and has turned his life around.

Thank you, judge, for the slap on the wrist.

  3. Good! He’s not a celebrity and dosent deserve special treatment.

  4. So he’s been charged with an offence on a suspended sentence? Surely now he has to serve the 2 year suspended sentence he received? Or will he get off again like the little scumbag he is

  5. shame on the company that hired him as a human resources officer.

  6. I would love if the judge made an example out of the prick, but seeing as it’s Ireland and he’s good a hurling, nothing will happen.

  7. That’s what he gets for bottling that last match against Cork.

  8. He’s a right prick it seems. Did the GAA armour not help ?

  9. I can imagine something of this nature was said in the courts.
“We were just about to punish Mr Hayes for his crimes, but then it occurred to us that he plays county, so naturally, we immediately gave him a tap on the wrist. This was done as a slap on the wrist has been deemed too harsh for a godly county player, ALL HAIL HAYES”

  10. Not a fan of the man at all he’s a scumbag. But dangerous driving is a bit harsh for 150 in a 100, especially on a good national road. Usually it would be 3 points and a fine. 160kmh+ is usually when they start heading for court but if there’s good weather and it wasn’t busy at the time it should be dropped to careless driving.
