  1. Anyone knows how the crash happened? It’s fairly unusual with a car-motorbike collision to literally kill everyone involved, especially on a rural road. It must have been a very catastrophic crash. It’s utterly heart wrenching.

  2. Poor girl, what a devastating thing to happen.

The BBC are reporting that the GoFundMe has now gone to £250,000.

That’s a huge amount of money, and from my experience Gofundme doesn’t require a lot of rigour around who administers that money and how.

Does anyone actually make certain that the money goes to the young girl in question?

  3. Nearly £300,000 now! What a tragedy this is but I hope that the money can be used to make her life ever so slightly easier.

  4. Brilliant news.

Her life has been destroyed and no money can bring that back but hopefully with this she can be supported well into adulthood.

  5. that is a lot of money, but no money is enough for the lost of her family. . .poor girl

  6. For those familiar with the area know that that road to be fast, too fast in my opinion. What’s odd is there used to be a speed camera where the crash happened (National Speed Limit down to 30) but it was removed a few years ago (Now 50 with no camera). I’m not blaming the people who made that decision but curious as to why it was removed – which is rare as far as I know.

  7. The gofundme is setup by the daughters, friends stepdad and then the money is being sent to the auntie. I wonder if it will be like the charity special where only 10% will actually go to the cause.

The auntie will need a brand new motor, surely. /s

  8. Am I the only one wondering why she was left at home?

Bit young to be in the stroppy little cow phase.
