  1. Nui Sam is in Mekong Delta region. Likely spotted trying to move arms/equipment by ground troops or aerial observer.

Amazing to think that in the last 55 years, flying over a target, identifying it and then dumping hundreds of rounds of hot metal is still one of the most effective ways of waging war.

  2. Exciting footage. But let’s be honest. What the US did in this clip and to a larger extent the people of Vietnam is unforgivable.

If you were a local, you were a target. I wish my country would never have gotten involved in the conflict. But withdrawing late is better than never.

I wish my country could have learned from this war and not had it repeat with Afghanistan. At least the loss in US lives was less.

I wonder what the next worthless 20 year war is? And all the while, Putin has given the world a reason to fight a just war but this time collectively stand idle.

  3. I cannot tell if someone’s in the boat or not, so im just picturing some random farmer standing in the distance after checking his crops, looking over, and seeing the results of a bored Marine and his M60 having some fun… “Well shit…” he thinks and begins to wade home. Lol!

  4. As a marine crew chief in Afghanistan this guy’s aim is shit. A blind armless monkey could control their spread better than that.
