And for those who naively insist Trump wouldn’t implement any of those things or the courts would push back, consider that his Supreme Court nominees have been greenlighting almost every far right Republican party preference on abortion restrictions, voting rights, separation of church and state, ability for agencies like the FDA to EPA to operate, and presidential immunity, and spent his first 4 years allowing abuses of executive power, all the while ignoring decades or centuries of legal precedent in these decisions . Consider the Congressional Republicans favor most of Project 2025 principles. The 6-3 Supreme Court is the most radical rightwing balance in any of our lifetimes. Consider also that Trump will sign anything Republican put in front of him (that doesn’t involve containing Putin), since he’s always looking for a narrative of “winning” or “getting stuff done”.

  21. Keep it up. Make it the loudest aspect of the election cycle. Project 2025 will take away your rights- even yours, conservative women- and it will do absolutely bat shit stuff like pre-emptively drafting public school children into the military while leaving private school children alone- and how do they handle wealthy enclaves where the local public school has private school demographics?

    Nothing about Project 2025 is actually pro-active, helpful or effective- it’s all punitive, it’s all vindictive, it’s all about cutting off noses to spite faces- all of it.

    It doesn’t actually benefit most republican voters- only the absolute elite of the elite- the big money donors, the people who we have never heard of who quietly own a $3 billion or $30 billion industrial conglomerate and stuff like that.

I was recently in Savannah, Georgia and Biden or one of the democratic groups is running ads about Project 2025 with some headlines and voice overs, and a QR Code for people to scan to learn about how dangerous Project 2025 is. Interesting approach to getting the word out. Kept it simple and very different to the political ads you normally see.

I’m honestly hopeful that we can go back to the years of sometimes having landslide elections where everyone agrees that one candidate is just far too awful or that one is just really really good. It’s not a bad thing to be in full agreement on our choices every once in a while. Plenty of elections have been quite lopsided where you’d have to wonder if there was any contest at all.   44. I talk to people everyday who literally have no clue about Project 2025. The Dems should be buying TV , online, newspaper ads in every state letting people know what is in store for them if Trump wins. I find voters so apathetic.
