Topo Chico (Coca Cola) Sparkling water contain high levels of PFAS. Called in to speak to someone about this issue, and received a canned response and 0 accountability. Unable to reach any form of management. Been drinking this stuff for years thinking I was being healthy.

I skipped the trend and went to a soda stream (which I am sure provide canisters that are jetting out pure PFAS)
Here’s why:
> None of these sparkling water brands exceeded the suggested PFA levels currently recommended by the EPA, but they did contain trace labels of PFAS above one ppt, according to the Consumer Reports study (10).
Instead of trying to get through to coca cola management, maybe you want to focus your energy on making sure the EPA even exists after November.
I’m sorry you’ve been deceived like that. We all have, our entire food supply is adulterated. When I found out that the highest concentrations of hormone disrupting chemicals are found in baby formula and baby foods, that was the final straw for me because if these companies are that callous, it means we can’t trust anything they say or anything implied about the safety of our food. If you look at the top of the chain at places like the FDA and the EPA, the executives are from the industries they’re supposed to regulate. Those industries have figured out how to feed their people into the government pipeline, then they serve for a while and return to the industry and are made rich. And in return they make all of their decisions in the favor of their industry. There is zero trust in government regulation because of this. They are all lying and it’s up to us to sort through fact from fiction and most importantly to protect ourselves and our families.
Anything you buy that is manufactured is adulterated. It’s a chemical time bomb. That’s what we have to assume.
So what I do is use reverse osmosis combined with five stage filtration system for all the water that we drink in my home. I buy big bags of organic tea and cold brew it. I use honey from a local source and organic sugar as a sweetener. That way I have a tasty cold beverage available in my refrigerator whenever I want it and it’s as pure as can be. We use a glass container for the tea, and glass containers to drink from.
Educate yourself, that’s the best you can do.
And if you have a Natural Grocers in your area, start shopping there. They are the only ones left other than small co-ops and such who really question their supply chain and do their best to only stock produce and items from the highest quality sources. It’s no guarantee but what else are you going to do?
Hmm wonder why Waterloo wasn’t tested. We drink that one because it’s the only one sold in a non bpa lined can.
Are these high levels packaged in cans or bottles?
