The rest of the country can finally taste the Nectar of the Gods
I’ve never had it so I’ll give it a go when I see it in store
>The soft drinks are made from their **original recipes** from the 1940s and 1950s, come in a recyclable glass bottle and contain **no artificial sweeteners**
SOLD
Don’t sleep on their banana drink either.
What does it taste like, something similar to Coca Cola? (No offence intended to the good people of Donegal but my taste pallet is curious)
My wife can’t believe my excitement over something that has no alcohol in it………….. actually does it mix well with alcohol I wonder?

Barman, a vodka and McDaids please.
Just need Cavan Cola back also. [https://www.anglocelt.ie/2015/01/22/is-it-time-to-bring-back-cavan-cola/](https://www.anglocelt.ie/2015/01/22/is-it-time-to-bring-back-cavan-cola/)
Hopefully in the glass bottles…..so much better
Trouble Brewing did a Collab beer with McDaids called Football Special. It was a 4% sour that tasted surprisingly like the original.
I hope they brew that again, it was class.

Just spotted they shot the photo for the beer in the same spot as the drink in the article.
I’d never heard of this til Frankie Boyle mentioned it on his podcast as part of visiting his grandparents in Donegal.
unironically the best news of the summer for Ireland
Why was it called football special?
