After Trump’s 4 years in office, his “A Team” turnover rate was 92%

Tracking turnover in the Trump administration

  1. That was the hope, when he was first elected in ’16, that he would be surrounded by adults who would tone down his antics and minimize the damage. One by one the sane ones quit or were fired or both, leaving only the nutjobs and sycophants.

If he wins in November, nutjob sycophant will be the baseline requirement for getting a job in the cabinet, and they’ll get nuttier and sicker from there.

  2. I’m no expert in business but I’m pretty sure if a company has that much turnover it’s a crimson red flag

  3. JD Vance is next lmao that boring fuck can’t lead or inspire shit Trump will push him out ASAP

  4. He fired people all the time because he saw his presidency as “Celebrity Apprentice: White House Edition.”

  5. Why is it so hard for Republicans to reason that *he’s* probably the one in the wrong for having a turnover rate this high?

  6. You think that’s nuts?

Remember that Project 2025 wants to consolidate federal employees and agencies under the Office of the President, so they can hire loyalists and partisans to EVERY possible position in the government.

Now, imagine the DMV with a 92% turnover rate because someone made a joke about having a Yuge birthday party.

  7. The best. He was only going to hire the best.

How about the fact that no one from Trump’s cabinet went to his convention? Everyone from Obama’s administration loves the guy and can’t say enough good things about him.

  8. So, Project 2025 will need to find 500,000*(100%/92%) people to replace all the fired workers. That means finding 4.4 million new people who don’t currently work at better jobs. Stupid maths!

  9. He’s great at firing. He just sucks at hiring. It’s almost like he doesn’t have a fucking clue how to run anything.

  10. He probably sees this as a good thing. It’s so rare he scores highly on anything. 🙄

  11. The “best and brightest” mostly think he’s full if shit.

  12. Only the best people, Folks. (At least 8% of the time.)

  13. Bro took the Apprentice a little too seriously lmao

  14. It’s funny, my dad always said the POTUS didn’t need to be a lawyer, be familiar with law, or experience in government service. You simply needed to surround yourself with good people. And trump was a good businessman, so why shouldn’t he be president.

  15. Trump first praising, then talking shit about his staff the very second they left, reminded of the *We Hate Movies* podcast episode about “It’s A Wonderful Life,” where the hosts imagine Trump praising the Baconator and then a chicken sandwich as his new chief of staff:

  16. Trump says he only hired the best. The numbers prove that was a lie.

  17. Kamala should honestly hit this during a campaign speech.

“If you were interviewing for a job and the company said they had a 92% turnover rate, would you join it? Of course you wouldn’t! It signifies chaos and poor leadership.

The Trump administration had a 92% turnover rate! Would you want that team running the country? Of course you wouldn’t! It would be chaotic with poor leadership!”

  18. That probably includes all the people that resigned at the end of his presidency in protest of what he stood for.

  19. Have we ever found out which of them wrote the famous “adults in the room” letter?

  20. This is interesting but it violates the sub rules, just saying.

  21. Yep. One of the Dem talking points should be that if Trump gets another term his staff will probably be the most corrupt and poorly qualified in American history.

  22. I think they were all people who donated on the promise Trump would give them a position in his administration. Don’t know if they agreed that their time was short, or that Trump over promised, and rotated people out quickly so they could all get their choice position for their bragging rights.

  23. “The best people” quit or get fired with a 92% turnover rate.

  24. Appropriate time for the huge list of all the people that have worked for him that day he is not fit for the office.

  25. Because none of them could or would commit crimes the way he wanted them to because he doesn’t know or care how the govt works.

  26. Honestly Kamala is a shoe in, and it’s about time.
As a man I’m tired of old idiot men running things and I’m surprised women haven’t all killed us in our sleep.

She has 4 years to make a difference make it count.

  27. Trump’s “best and brightest” ended up being way worse than Biden’s diversity picks

  28. Biden’s so confident in his team that he stepped aside so one of them could become president. Trump on the other hand tried to have one of his team mates killed.

  29. He hired the best people, then he promptly fired or accepted resignations from almost all of them.

  30. Wasn’t it something like 40/44 members of Trump’s own cabinet, after his term, considered him ‘unfit to lead’?
