  6. Just a little reminder for those looking in here: Just because these articles are favorable doesn’t mean the future is written yet. Do what you do best, work as much as you can to help her clench victory, especially since polls can be quite unreliable.

  14. I feel hope for the first time in a *very* long time. Polls might not be too accurate right now, but this is still a promising trend we’re seeing.

  15. People are tired of saying to themselves, “Well, he’s too old to take 3 flights of stairs, and he is or could be president but you don’t climb that many stairs as president.” Cognitive dissonance is draining.

    Democratic and independent voters have just had that load lifted from their shoulders, and it’s exhilarating. MAGA are still carrying it, and it can’t have escaped their notice that their enemies have been freed of it.

    I will enjoy watching Trump squeal and whinge to Texas and Florida secretaries of state to get the results overturned this November.

  16. I think it’s going to take a couple of weeks for people to take a deep breath and make decisions. Where the polls are now is very encouraging for a possible Harris win, since I expected this to be decisively in favor of Trump at this point. (Outside the margin of error, +7 to +9 Trump was my fear.) It really looks like Harris has a genuine shot at winning, and for the first time, I am legitimately hopeful that we don’t get a second Trump administration. I won’t have to totally keep my mouth shut for the rest of my exsistence. (I am 74.) As far as I am concerned the early polls are good news, although it slightly favors Trump. Give the lady a chance to campaign! She’s good at it! We can thank RFK for sihoning off the anti-vaxxers, he’s doing more damage to Trump than to Harris. At this point, I hope he stays in the race.

  26. If history told us anything, polls are not at all accurate. Even the 2020 polls were ridiculously inaccurate. That being said, don’t get comfortable thinking Trump is losing. Go out and vote like your lives depend on it.

    Come Election Day, real boots on the ground. Right now, those folks aren’t saying one way or another how they are voting because they’re busy at work or watching how all of this plays out.
