  1. > A “Win With Black Men” organizer [reported](https://x.com/QJames/status/1815717083629711814) more than 53,000 Black men joined the virtual event on Monday and raised $1.3 million in four hours. The organizers say half of that will go to the Harris campaign, and half will go to organizations that specialize in mobilizing Black men to vote.

  2. Looks like DEI isn’t the zinger trumpsters thought it would be. Weird!

  3. What? All of them? Why does ones color pose such importance as to make a headline? We are all one people under the flag of the USA. Stop separating us into Yin/yang

  4. According to ActBlue the most amount of money raised in a week was towards the end of the 2020 election and amounted to about $215 million. We are only 72 hours into the week and are currently at $173 million and still raising $2 million every hour. Pretty astonishing.

  5. Some politics journalist on this podcast I listen to was skeptical that Harris could bring out as much of the black vote as Biden did in 2020. I don’t get this at all. Obviously, I’m just some guy on the internet and not a major politics journalist but to me it seems like Harris could pull out more of the black vote than Biden.

  6. Trump is going to need some alone time with Ivanka after all this bad news.

  7. Everyone I talk to in Ohio says Kamala would be a worse choice than Biden, and I’m just like, “good I’m glad you GOPers think she would be a worse choice, because that means she’d be a better choice!”

  8. Y’all realise she’s more Indian than black?

This fake pretense of her being black is really really fucking disgusting. She grew up with an Indian mother and a half black father who abandoned them yet she and the media try to pander to blacks.

Really? Wtf is wrong with racist Americans?

  9. White southerner- HARRIS 2024! Sent my entire paycheck! No one is free when others are oppressed! Let’s start treating each other as equals. If I live long enough to tell my grandnieces and nephews that I gave half of a months work to elect this upstanding woman, to get aid in her election- I will have fulfilled my promise as a godfather. I agreed to look out for their best interests. I will continue to do my duty

  10. This is a relief to hear. I was getting concerned before Joe dropped out with how much of the black and Hispanic vote that was swaying to trump for this election.

  11. I see we’re bringing the race stuff back into all this quite quickly

  12. Didn’t blm just denounce Harris? That’s a pretty big blunder

  13. This is what *this* Black man was scared of the most when she was named the candidate. Now I feel so much better. Let’s do this.

  14. There’s also a group of black women that got 40,000 people together- that was a few days ago

  15. Seems like a savvy move that VP Harris and her campaign staff are using these massive zoom call virtual events to get thousands of people involved early in a grassroots manner.
