Those tactics were pretty interesting… Almost WW1 like – creeping* barrage of artillery followed up by soldiers walking towards the enemy.
When that first guy got hit I thought to myself *huh, I’d imagine that’s one of the better ways to go in this war, quickly and obliviously*, but then he started crawling and I thought *ah naw fuck that*.
“Storm”? Definitely no other verbs available at the time of posting?

It appears that Russian military doctrine has dispensed with ‘ Zerg rush’ as a tactic, and is experimenting with ‘desultory Orc stroll”.
The results are being examined carefully at headquarters.

Casually walking to an enemy position.. that’s a1 tactics
Look how they walk, obviously drunk and probably decided to play drunk heroes expecting successful mission or were sent there as a punishment. No one in their right mind would send drunk soldiers to fight.
That’s walking not storming
The good old soviet tactics, throw meat waves until opponents remains without bullets!

Looks like they drank a few bottles of vodka and said “fuck it, let’s giver.”
or then again, maybe they faced the same fate if they turned around and went back. Maybe that’s how they “encourage” them to take on these missions…
You would be surprised how often they walk right up to the lines. Kinda miss it, hopefully I’ll be back soon. Slava Ukraini 😈
