3. They can protest, but they cannot sabotage the national infrastructure. It’s not a difficult concept.

6. JSO really get on my thungas. In this country we have pretty ambitious climate targets, carbon budgets set and monitored by an independent body, a political system that has achieved every carbon budget to date.

   Then we have a group like JSO that are so idiotic or disingenuous they think the UK government drilling oil has any impact on the climate. It’s a demand based carteled product, dumb-dumbs. If BP release some oil on the market OPEC just releases less. No more or less gets burned. They’re not heroes, they’re malcontents who have no ideas on how to stem climate change so are just flailing about causing damage.

7. History will see these folks as heroes and your grandkids will ask you by saying “Where were you?”. What will your cowardly response be?

8. If you protest key infrastructure or affect lives via emergency service delays, you and those arrested are liable to pay for the losses incurred.

   End of.

   Protesting on B road or whatever is one thing, risking people’s lives and livelihoods is another.

11. All of this time and energy could be spent doing really proactive things like reforestation or permaculture. The energy is obviously out there, we obviously need projects that these people can add to.

12. Airports will have been a fun target till someone is shoving a gun in your face.

13. If they cause further disruption, simply send them to jail like they have been doing. Causing someone to miss their appointment with aggressive cancer diagnosis and forcing them to wait another 3 months might well have been a death sentence, just so these idiots can pretend that issues can be solved so easily. They’re fucking imbeciles.
