Oh noooo! How could this poor russian soldier come into a situation where a french volunteer could take trophies from him!? /s
Looking for information, not trophies.
There something called intelligence gathering… I don’t see this dude collecting any trophies.
What’s the general consensus here on the rate of casualties as of recent?
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve not seen so many dead Russians as I have in the past couple months than since the early days of the war.
Looks like he was trying to get some trophies but only found garbage,
The Ukrainian soldier isn’t looting or collecting trophies for personal gain.
He seems to collect intel information, as he thouroughly searchs notes and com gear while discarding any material possessions.
He might also collect munitions from the loadout of the dead Russian soldier (*he seems to be unchambering the AK at 00:38, likely either to render it safe to handle or in order to repurpose the munitions)* to aid in the defense of Ukraine.
“Trophy” might be an oftly made mistranslation here?
The liberator was shot dead. What a pity.
Bullshit title.
What no fridge/freezer!……Second rate Looter eliminated….
AI translation error. They would have used a euphemism, like gold, valuables, prizes…
Of course he is evaluating items and taking the intel , He is going to take or destroy the ak47 and ammo, any war valuable items like radio, grenades,
No croissant… Im happy to send some
COD Scavenger Perk
I’m curious do they have a mental list of what to look for usually?
he’s not collecting anything just intel procedure, the dead russian is well equiped so certainly an officer . It s normal procedure to retrieve information. Ce soldat présenté comme français recherche et collecte de l’intel / renseignements et non des trophées de guerre, c est une procédure habituelle.
This is common practice, for even the United States, Military. After you whack em’, you unpack em’ to gather any useful intelligence and, make sure the enemy is ACTUALLY dead and anything that may be a threat to you is dealt with.

or just, you know, gear and info.
Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦🇲🇫
Does anyone think about who is going to clean up all that mess after the war?
This guy isn’t collecting trophies at all, he’s searching for intel and taking left over ammo.
Some of them may be mined …
Watch they don’t start booby trapping these
He’s looking for intel while denying the ennemy the reuse of important stuff
I’m surprised this is one of the first videos I’ve have seen of any solider searching the dead for intel, weapons, equipment and anything else of use. It’s amazing how much you can learn from the items a dead soldier has on his body.
In regards to booby trapped. What if he just dropped him. The body seems pretty fresh and limp.
In regards to littering, boo, boo I tell you.
In regard to trophy word. Anything useful in fighting the enemy taken from the enemy is called трофей i.e. trophy in russian and Ukrainian. His gold watch would be called the same thing though. Just lingusitics here nothing to see.
Anyone else hoping he was going to take an ear or at least a drivers license?
How do you prevent yourself from dying by booby traps while looting?
Searching for intelligence
“Trophies” is a bit disingenuous, isn’t it?
The once beautiful ukranian nature will look like a dump after the war ended.
Real life tarkov
Gathering intelligence
They definitely have their comsec now, that is assuming Russia even uses encrypted communications. That was a proper radio he acquired.
