I got the student abo (for ~27€)
The abo I paid for is called "BWstuditarif"? So for Baden-Württemberg but now the card I got is called deutschalndticket so I'm confused?

  1. Some transport associations offer cheaper versions of the Deutschlandticket, typically under specific conditions. But yeah, it’s the same ticket at the end, this works for all the same stuff as any other one. (For example, my own Deutschlandticket is also only 30€ a month, thanks to a student / young people discount.)

  2. !49

Students can get a discount on the deutschlandticket, just like there used to be a semesterticket.

  3. It’s a discounted D-Ticket for Students.

The old KVV student ticket is discontinued and everyone transferred to a discounted D-Ticket. The same exist in general for young people in BW.

  4. yes you can travel in all of germany. with regio trains, busses, trams, etc. but NOT with ICEs or ICs (long distance)
