Dear all,
According to my 'einbürgerungszusicherung' my naturalisation only depends on the renunciation of my previous citizenship.
I have done this and submitted the documentation (via email, they said I could bring the originals at a later time). It's been over 2 months now and i've not heard a word. There should be no other requirements if I am not mistaken. Any idea why it would be taking so long?
I live in Trier, Rheinland-Pfalz.
It's really lousy being stateless. What is a reasonable time period at this stage of the process?
