They should deliver it unpopped and stop making unnecessary journeys.
Edit: a quick Google says popcorn expands 20-50 times its original size when popped. Without any more details than that we know that’s a LOT of unnecessary deliveries to every cinema.
Edit 2: even estimating using the lowest of 20x it means 2 of those piles of popcorn would fit in 1 bag and that entire delivery would be smaller than a single pile.
If we go with the 50x then it would have been 3-4 bags.
More expensive than gold
No wonder they are so shit 💩
Street value £250,000.
The hell is wrong with this planet? They seriously can no longer find someone qualified to pop the kernels at the cinema?
That’s really surprising, I used to work in a cinema and all the popcorn was popped fresh on site. Seems mad to ship it like this.
Any idea how long that quantity is meant to last the cinema? Is that a daily / weekly / monthly volume?
Not sure why they don’t just pop it fresh onsite. Not exactly hard to make and fresh is certainly better than however many days / weeks old this stuff ends up before you are served it.
Why the fock is it popped? Am I that old I remember popcorn popping machines?
