  4. I am really enjoying how her campaign is shaping up. It’s focused, direct and motivating. It’s assertively “prosecuting” the case against 45, while giving hope to a better future as well with tangible plans.

    This campaign has inspired democrats in a way I did not think possible. “We’re not going back.” There is so much strength and determination in that statement; it’s invigorating.

  24. Passing the torch to Harris is not enough. In order for democracy to survive, Biden absolutely needs to step up and start tackling republican gerrymandering and voter suppression tactics. She won’t win if the people who want to vote for her are prevented from even getting to the polls.

    Biden actually did the same kind of thing 4 years ago. Trump did some gaffe or slip of a tongue that made Biden look good and then Biden’s voice said “I’m Joe Biden and I approve this message”

  29. This is how you beat Trump. His base loves how he doesn’t play by the rules and asserts his dominance. You don’t stop a bully with reason, you punch them in the mouth and take away their power (metaphorically speaking). Joe Biden is a good man, too good to say what needs to be said. Let’s see how loyal Trump’s base is after Kamala makes Trump her bitch.

  31. This is exactly why I said literally any Democrat would be better than Joe Biden. Joe’s been a fine President and was the right guy in 2020, but Trump is very easy to attack and dismantle yet Joe doesn’t have the energy or lucidity to campaign the way he needed to. This allows the much more visible Trump and the right wing media to control the narrative while most of America shrugs and says “they’re all so old and unqualified.”

    There was no reason ANY Democrat should be losing to Donald Trump.

    There was no reason such a successful administration that handled multiple major crises about as well as they could should have such low approval ratings.

    It all comes down to Joe not being an effective messenger, unfortunately. If this was ten years ago it would be a different story.

    Literally any other Democrat, including Kamala, who had major question marks about her political acumen, has the ability to campaign with more vitality and take the fight to Trump. Kamala herself has risen to the occasion so far which is extra heartening.
