  2. To the comments saying it doesn’t matter: Trump is specifically saying his ear got pierced with a bullet. If it didn’t and he’s full-on lying about his injury, that matters… **a lot**.

    1) Trump and supporters can say he “took a bullet for this country”

    2) Trump and supporters can say he was “saved by God” because he was “so close to death”.

    The narrative absolutely matters considering his largely religious base and their beliefs when voting and sharing propaganda. Do not be fooled into thinking the narrative does not matter.

    There were no follow up questions about the shrapnel. This was not a statement of skepticism about if he was really injured.

  25. If Trump was actually hit by the a bullet, he’d have that medical report plastered *everywhere*. The fact that we haven’t seen it is the biggest indicator that he was, at most, grazed by some debris.

  26. I did read the article and know what it’s actually about, but I kind of wish they were saying that due to his experience as a WWE Hall of Famer, they can’t be sure he doesn’t stash a gig in the sleeve of his suit coat.

  27. Ever since the report about the teleprompter glass I had a feeling.. he’s lying about the bullet and I cannot wait for that to come out!!

    His ear looking like it was cut, if it was shot some ear has gotta be missing.

    Of course if it does turn out that he is lying his supporters will say the FBI is against him and the media reporting it is fake news.. but surely SOME people will realize it. Just hope more details come out before the election

  32. In the days after the shooting, Trump chose Ronny Jackson to treat the wound. This is pretty much all we need to know to determine if a coverup is underway.

    Someone shot at him. Regardless of what hit his ear, he still got shot at. If someone shot at *you*, and *something* grazed your ear *as a direct result of getting shot at*, I doubt you would care what it was. You would still feel like you got shot, and you’d still talk about it as if you got shot.

    There are so, *so* many things to make fun of Trump for. So many. This isn’t one of them.

    I think he was shot at, but what hit him (and cut him) was glass from his teleprompter.

    Not saying a bullet(s) didn’t come within inches of his head, but I don’t think it was a bullet graze either.

  36. There are lots of gun videos on youtube, and several gun channels tried to reproduce the shot. If AR15 bullet struck his ear, his wound will be much worse.

  39. That they didn’t release the medical report was a major red flag. If it were actually a bullet, trump would have been playing it up non-stop. Only two reasons to do that:

    1) It would invalidate the claims that he got shot
    2) It contains health details that are problematic enough that they don’t want them released. His actual blood pressure, weight, medications, incontinence, etc.

  40. The way a person responds to something hitting their head is entirely different from how he responded. You naturally jerk away. He didn’t. At all. Supposedly a bullet struck him and he didn’t even jerk away like if a fly buzzed his ear.
