  5. Right now there are republicans that are quietly saying Trump should step down and make way for a younger candidate. They can’t be too loud though, they’d be ostracized and have their career ruined immediately by the orange tyrant. It must be awesome to say you support freedom of speech while not having the freedom to speak.

  6. The Hannibal Lecter thing is great. He wants so badly to tell that “have you for dinner” dad joke. It makes him look so old and lame. He’s that uncle who tells the same joke over and over, and you have to laugh to be polite because he gives you a card with nothing in it two weeks after your birthday.

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple strokes occurred in many elderly people. Among them, poststroke mood disorders are relatively common.

    This is elder abuse.

Here’s the thing that’s so amazing: Biden is a little slower than he used to be but he’s an older man with a prominent stutter (which in my personal experience with stuttering can sometimes just slow you down more than anything). Meanwhile, Trump is visibly cognitively not there and hasn’t been there for years. Yet they successfully sold the story that Biden is too old and somehow Trump isn’t. Like look at this footage. Look at footage from honestly any of his rallies this campaign: He’s out of it.

  33. My daughter is a hostess at a golf club. She says she deals with a ton of old, rich, white assholes and their hateful Stepford wives. Trump is their god. She says these assholes try to boss her around (she’s 18), hit on her, try to drop cred like, “I’m a member of the TGA (Texas Golf Association).”

    She says they talk politics all the time. She has to keep her mouth shut. She’s quitting today. I hope she tells one of those old fossils to fuck off before she leaves.

    He knows nothing about anything – but he knows how to bluff the answers, deflect & talk about something else for a while until you forgot what the question was.

    Personally I could not listen to more than half an hour, it was so annoying to try & make sense of.

    But it really highlighted to me the “techniques” he employs to bluff – like when he flubs the wrong word, he dances around it to give him time to recover. I have met other people who do this in real life…

    I pity the poor gullible rubes who somehow think he’s smart…

    What the fuck does this even mean? Silence of the Lambs is not a true story and Hannibal Lecter did not die in the movies. Nor has the actor who played him. What is happening?
