5. Article is to shit on Texas, it’s an amazing place to raise a family , best hospital systems, amenities for everyone ( free and paid). Entertainment venues are plenty, cost of living is lower than most of the country, $3 gasoline prices. The only thing Texas lacks is beautiful nature near large cities (Austin is okay).

6. What’s this say about CNBC’s methodology for ranking the worst states by quality of life (excluding weather) if the very last sentence talking about Texas being THE worst also says this:

   “But for now, statistically speaking, people keep *pouring into* the state with America’s worst quality of life.” (Emphasis mine)

7. Conservatives will say its not true because CNBC said it and that their states are better than dem states (not based on data but based on feelings and their chosen media narrative)

   But when we look at life expectancy conservative states consistently rank on the bottom while democratic states rank on the top. Theres nothing more valuable than life/time – go ask any wealthy person.

   Why are conservatives ok with dying sooner and leaving the dems to collect more of social security? Oh right life expectancy is never part of discussion because the discussion is always culture wars and other petty simpleton stuff.
