[@Plettigoal]Bayern and West Ham have reached an agreement for Noussair Mazraoui. Transfer fee: €15,5m + €4m add-ons. There’s also a verbal agreement in principle between West Ham and Mazraoui. Not a done deal yet as important financial details have to be clarified.

  1. I wasn’t against letting him go, very good player but too injury prone and sometimes a liability, but that fee is just ridiculous

  2. When Bayern buys Player: Transfer fee’s are in 2024
When we sell Players: Transfer fee’s stuck in 2010

  3. Out of our rb/lb options he is the best choice for sale I guess. He looked good towards the end of last season, but overall really injury prone and inconsistent in his time here.

Could have been more money, but we got him for free so it is what it is.

  4. Meanwhile West Ham paid €47.5m for Max Kilman from Wolves. How are we getting not even half as much for Maz (not saying it should have been €40m+ for Maz but €15 +4m is way too cheap)

  5. Fee too small, but we really need to clear up space at the right side, so I understand they wanted to just get it done and over with.

First team right side without Maz:
    Kimmich
    Boye
    Stanisic
    Coman
    Olise
    Sané

Now if we want to give some of our youngsters a chance it would be good to maybe sell another player too. On the other hand, injuries will happen…

  6. We (rightfully) praise Eberl and Freund for our new signings and targets, but to be completely fair we also need to judge the departures.

This fee is laughable and screams “sell out of desperation”.

Could also be the result of Uli putting pressure on to sell immidiately. Add in not being able to seal an already underpiced De Ligt / Man U deal timely (Don’t want to sell him but it is their goal to sell so I’m judging how it goes).

Sell’s wise, we haven’t had any kind of inprovement over our last managers.

Still a few weeks so I”ll hold out on final judgement.

  7. Of course Sell all the technically/good players sick of this shit

  8. Context matters.yeah, the fee isn’t great but when you look at the situation the club is in with so many fullbacks, it makes sense.

Bayern wasn’t in a position to play hard ball.

    It’s fine whatever

  9. Can’t we charge 30M ? These EPL teams have so much money

What the fuck why are we like this

  10. Jesus Christ, whoever is in charge of Bayern’s negotiations should be fired, they have no business tact.

  11. To everone who doesnt understand finances, Maz came on a free so he is pure profit on the books. We should’ve gotten more but its still a decent sale.

Maz was never better than “ok” and we made a profit on him.

To put it into perspective we cant sell deligt for 50m, and at price he would only be 8m in profit. The mazraoui sale would be equivalent to selling de ligt for 62m. You can see how its not a bad sale.

  12. Calm down with the complaints. Maz showed talent and ability, but in the end he played 19/34 games each in two seasons with an approximate time of 60 minutes on the field. 20m + addons might have looked better, but it’s okay

  13. I agree with PL transfer fees being too high. If another team bought him, I would say the price is normal. He is high skilled player but too injury prone.

  14. I really do understand this, Kimmich on his way out and we’re not sure if Boey and Stanisic are ready to be #1. I would support this more after this season if he is beaten for the role, but let’s not forget he can also play LB, CB, and CDM so why rush to get rid of such a versatile player when the club is rebuilding.

  15. Bro wtf thats basically for free for one of our best performers when fit. We got robbed and they got one hell of a deal for todays market

  16. Of course the antisemites on X are already stating as fact that Mazraoui is only being sold because of “politics” and because “Zionists run the club.”
