Varna count down.

Well it's now 1 month until my bulgarian road trip which ends with 4 days at Varna.

20 years ago I first came to Bulgaria and my British compatriots then asked me "why?, it will be dangerous, and the people ont speak English bla blah" and guess what I still get asked the same question.

This will be my forth trip, and each time I become curiously in love with this country

I adore the unique blend of nature, coast, classical and Soviet architecture. The ability to still discover somewhere new, without the impact of commerical western culture.

Sure not everything is perfect and sometimes you just need to be a bit nore patient. One thing for sure is the Bulgarian people are without doubt amongst the most genuine and friendly people you can meet. You may get the slightly puzzled look when someone tries their best to understand YOUR English and maybe some ropey summer service at the black sea resorts.

Take it from me if you love history travel nature and want to experience something different Bulgaria has everything offer.
