Report finds ‘collusive behaviours’ by RUC over murders

  1. Won’t hear a word about this from anyone in Fine Gael but sure as fuck will hear them screaming “but the ira” every other second

  2. The same pattern emerges again and again. The RUC, and particularly its special branch, held loyalist terrorists very close indeed and seemed deeply uninterested in pursuing effective investigations against them.

Returning weapons to them is quite something.

  3. Hilarious that An Phoblacht might have been the most accurate source of information on collusion and British crimes in NI than any other outlet in Britain or Ireland.

I’d consider this a failure of the media and the Irish government to not hold the British state accountable for the crimes we all knew they were doing.

  4. Lived in this community as a child, it was horrific [what happened to us](https://youtu.be/4Dbjxwz2BQQ).

RUC used to [blockade us into our streets](https://c8.alamy.com/comp/G4598J/ormeau-road-G4598J.jpg) while the Orange Order marched through our community playing their sectarian anthems, while the members [mascaraded by](https://www.indymedia.ie/cache/imagecache/local/attachments/feb2006/460_0___30_0_0_0_0_0_5orangefingers1992.jpg) celebrating the five people killed. Things like this put real meaning to the words Tiocfaidh ár lá to me.
