I wanted to make a joke about English food… but to be honest Sodexo is in charge of the food for the athlete… and Sodexo is in charge of the food for hospitals, school, nursing homes. Bad food but you don’t complain/can’t complain or no one is listening to you.
I remember going to Hungary with our national rugby team for a turnament. The Hungarian team was fed a different diet at meal time than the rest of Us, the Danes, Poles and a couple of other teams all got fed pasta with feta cheese while the hungarians were fed steaks and all kinds of good shit. They went out of their way to give the competition lesser food to make sure We had less fuel in our bodies
Can’t believe there isn’t a Greggs in the Olympic Village. Fucking travesty
