He’s totally right Don Carlo 🫡 Our forwards need to alternate positions during games as to confuse and make it harder for our opponents. The three we now have upfront can perfectly do any of those three positions. Btw.. as anecdote.. I called back in 2017 when Rodrygo got signed that a moment would come where our future attack would be Vini – Boopi – Rodry 😉🙃 The time has finally arrived.
Where is he going to play?
Carlo: in the front.
Can’t imagine what having the confidence and trust of a manager like Carlo can do for a young player – must be so freeing instead of being forced to play a certain play style like Pep
he even said that player choose where want play in certain situation, he didnt force them to “stay on the right!!”etc, just be front 😀
If a professional can’t play a few different positions they aren’t as good as they seem. You have to be dynamic. All the greats are dynamic.
these moving subtitles are eye cancer
I think it’s great how he talked about Rodrygo’s position, how sometimes he just moves to the right during the game, adjusting to the game. It’s good for football and it’s good for the players development this freedom. I really don’t like seeing teams that play with too rigid, fixed positions. When football becomes too focused on tactics, technique suffers.
I love how Carlo trusts the players and lets them make decisions during the game. While managers like Pep has produced good consistent results following a system but this has led to an extremely boring style of play where players have to follow a set plan and can’t express themselves. I can’t think of any other top team that allows them to use their creativity like Real Madrid does.
We have seen him deploying both Vini and Rodrygo on the left side
