With the world going to hell in a handbasket we can all use a reminder to support local (f u bezos).
Books are great prices staff are sound and all round gave me a good feeling.

  4. It’s always been my go-to for records for years. Great spot.

  5. Them and Freebird Records in the same store,they are 2 absolute gems. I’m not much of a reader but anytime I’m in Dublin I go to buy records and one of my first stops in the city centre is freebird.

  6. They’re a great bookshop and very sound to chat to in there. It’s my favourite bookshop to browse in, very hard to go there looking for a specific book but you’re 95% certain to find something you weren’t looking for. The record selection in the back is fairly decent too.

  9. Great idea but sadly I love my Kindle too much. It’s just too convenient to read on bus, luas and bring on holidays too.

    Thebookshop.ie is similar for deliveries, except they do secondhand books, and free postage over €20.

    Their books are in great condition, and the lads are lovely to deal with. I ordered from them recently and they put on a free extra book. I was chuffed lol
