Honestly the assassination was legit and it appears he was injured by bullet or debris. If he had come out and said I got hit by a piece of glass that shattered the political benefit is the same- dude was within inches of bullets. The fact that he keeps hiding it and making such a big deal about hiding it to appear “tough” is what’s going to end up making it worse now if it was a lie.

U can see he has his entire ear. Blood mostly behind his ear, in the video when he stands up. I would expect a missing piece of ear if a bullet hit it.

There was nothing “quick” about Chump being escorted off the stage. He was exposed several times, allowed to collected his lifted shoes, and stood up exposed again to chant, fight fight fight with a raised fist.

The fact that he lashes out against the FBI director for stating that he can’t objectively say if he was shot AND also admits that they haven’t looked him over….

The fact that the FBI hasn’t debriefed with him, and/or examined him is exceptionally odd.
None of the medial staff at the hospital have been authorized to explain his treatment to the media.
I understand medical privacy, but he didn’t go to the hospital because of a personal issue that could be embarrassing… someone shot at him, his ear was bleeding, and he needed medical care. Explaining what happened in that context changes nothing about Trump’s privacy.
I’m not going to say I believe this but all the pieces are there to make this into a conspiracy.

Trump completely lacking in sympathy for his supporters or any human. Famously said he could, “shoot someone on fifth avenue and not lose a vote.” History with WWE, probably saw wrestlers slice an ear for drama.

Misplay by the Trump team tbh. A bullet whizzing by your head by mere inches is a good story even if it missed. They could have just told the truth (if they are lying) and probably still got a boost.

I still want to know why we never had any report from a doctor.
I’m of the opinion that it does not matter if he got hit by a bullet or piece of glass or wood or whatever, but the non-transparency is unpresidential. I’d expect a presidential candidate to have doctors give an update saying his condition is good, and to have him meet with law enforcement to go over what happened and how it was able to happen at all. Disappearing and saying nothing before popping up to go play golf is really strange. Then wearing a huge bandage later when he wasn’t while golfing combined with refusal to talk about what actually happened looks like show-boating. No one gives a fuck if Trump thinks it’s more macho to get nicked by a bullet instead of shrapnel (which is dumb, shrapnel can kill), we just want an analysis of what happened so it doesn’t happen again.
I can’t wait for the FBI to make a statement.
