Another big retail name gone. That’s a shame. And dreadful for all the staff involved.
I’m trying to think of how many British brands that actually still have some kind of presence. I mean domestically, let alone internationally.
They charge £85 for a t-shirt.
Is it any surprise that people don’t shop there?
As more and more purchases is online this will inevitably lead to shops closing
I’ve notice how empty town is these days
Had a browse of their website a few months ago, all of their polo shirts look like polos a 50 year old Brit would wear on holiday to Spain. They haven’t evolved with the times.
There’s not a lot left on the UK High Street these days. It’s all vape shops, BetFreds and charity shops now.
I used to be fond of their bags but all the latest ones are boring. They are either one colour or they have a floral pattern. All of them are standard handbag shape, and some of them have a wonky bow.
I wanted to upgrade to only wearing quality, natural clothes. I checked ted baker and karen millen, but it was all polyester. Really overpriced.
welcome to private equity destroying britain one by one
