  1. Another big retail name gone. That’s a shame. And dreadful for all the staff involved.

  2. I’m trying to think of how many British brands that actually still have some kind of presence. I mean domestically, let alone internationally.

  3. They charge £85 for a t-shirt.

Is it any surprise that people don’t shop there?

  4. As more and more purchases is online this will inevitably lead to shops closing

I’ve notice how empty town is these days

  5. Had a browse of their website a few months ago, all of their polo shirts look like polos a 50 year old Brit would wear on holiday to Spain. They haven’t evolved with the times.

  6. There’s not a lot left on the UK High Street these days. It’s all vape shops, BetFreds and charity shops now.

  7. I used to be fond of their bags but all the latest ones are boring. They are either one colour or they have a floral pattern. All of them are standard handbag shape, and some of them have a wonky bow.

  8. I wanted to upgrade to only wearing quality, natural clothes. I checked ted baker and karen millen, but it was all polyester. Really overpriced.

  9. welcome to private equity destroying britain one by one
