Doing research for a documentary project and I’m trying to find certain significant locations within the town, and one of them is a street called Storgten. I’ve found on google maps a street (looks like a major roads that runs through Lillehammer) called Storgata. Wondering that that’s what the author meant? The book describes the location where this incident took place was near as “tenements providing cheap workers’ housing.” I know things have probably changed in 50 years but if anyone has an exact location, I’d be very grateful.

Yeah, Storgata. Wonder what else is wrong if the author messed up something simple like that.
