Got my electricity bill yesterday for the last 2 months, 3 bedroom house – 148 euro.
I have no idea what some of you are using electricity on, hearing of bills being multiple of this. Grow houses and crypto mining.
“mam give me your phone”
Last bill 382 euros for 2 months. (Energia – read meter)
2 people working from home in a 4 bedroom house with oil heating.
Luckily its still within my means but fuck me i can imagine some families in precarious positions right about now..
Hahahahahahah brilliant
€80 to fill up a diesel car – was only €60 when I was complaining before
Got a gas bill from Energia yesterday of €474.41
601 for 2 months, 2 people in apartment, electricity only
Mine came in the other day €289 for two of us in a 3 bed house. I realised we’d gone out of contract with Energia so rang them. They put the rate back down which knocks about €100 off the bill (35% discount). But I had checked [bonkers.ie](https://bonkers.ie) and told them I wanted that deal instead. It gives a 41% discount and €135 back (taken off between bills 2 and 4 this year).
Everyone check your billing rates and make sure you have the best deal available!
Top tip 1: install a generator in your home & power it off the (free) water mains pressure.
Top tip 2: don’t tell everyone on Reddit about this, or there’ll be a catastrophic drop off in pressure.
