  1. Sounds very positive. People against immigration are always moaning they don’t want to integrate, so let’s take some positive action to tackle that.

  2. This sounds great. Bet some racist is going to find a way to make this negative.

  3. Ignore all the issues we’ve had with immigration and how it is making us all poorer. We have a feel good story showing 90 people out of millions are learning English.

This proves the right wingers were wrong all along.

  4. That’s beautiful. I know positive headlines don’t get as many clicks but actually things like this really help with integration and connection and community feeling.

  5. Too little too late, wish this was 2010 when I could call it good news but it’s not, the Tories brought the situation to such a level where small stuff like this isn’t going to sort the issues out.

  6. I thought they came here because they could speak English etc etc.

  7. This is exactly what we need, the only proper way to integrate

  8. Language is one thing but assimilation is more than that, there are fundamental problems with Islam and assimilation. The very thought of a Muslim woman marrying a non-Muslim English man is a massive taboo even among “progressives”, many traditional English habits, even food most Muslims find fundamentally “haram” therefore can’t participate, as long as these people hold religion as their number one value I am afraid we will see more ghettoisation.

  9. This is good. For those who complain that refugees don’t integrate, they have to have a community who embraces them and helps them integrate.
