  7. Even if Ukraine didn’t ban oil transfer transit, Orban would have still blocked EU’s Ukraine defense funds under another pretext so go ahead and keep on annoying until Hungary will get payback later.

  19. Hungary is into war profiteering on a grand scale. They have used the sanctions to boost purchases of Russian oil that they resell to other members. They were granted a reprieve in order to diversify, instead they concentrated on Russian oil.

  20. This technically makes Hungary first Russian oblast without oil deliveries.
