2. We live in a time of some of the worst class disparities ever thrust on the working class by the Bourgeoisie; no shit there’s crackheads outside.

5. Margate has always been a bit rough especially Cliftonville ways, well since the 2000s at least in my life experience

7. This is relatively true of a lot of places, including blatant drug use (injecting in public ) , because no one intervenes and there aren’t enough police to be effective against it, which in turn people don’t have confidence the police will do anything .

   Let’s hope things change over the next few years for the better

8. This is a very reasonable take. Britain’s faded seaside towns are notoriously drug free zones.

9. Meh, I live in Margate (a DFL of some 25 years now) and pretty much all the people who I know that habitually use drugs are born and bred Thanetites.
   That said there’s not a town in the country where there’s not cocaine everywhere.

10. Re the Dreamland part.

    Same pearl clutching articles about MDMA deaths for the last 30 years.

    I’d love to see the stats on how many people have died from ecstasy since Leah Betts in 95 vs how many people have died from booze.

    Even levelled out at number users per drug or however to make it fair.

    It’s got to be absolutely dwarfed.
