  9. It would not have been a big deal if Trump had said his injury was from shrapnel from the bullet.

    But he had to suppress everything and insist the bullet actually hit him when there’s evidence suggesting otherwise. Now it’s an angle for news stories.

  13. When you think how many of us (and I include myself) resigned ourselves to the idea that the rally shooting would win him the election, it’s amazing that he’s found a way to fuck it all up. I wouldn’t have thought it possible. Of course, I said the same thing when Covid made it here – “Well, here comes four more years of Trump”. Because being the President during a national crisis has historically been a free ticket to a second term. All he had to do was say some words of hope and encouragement to the citzens, then stand back and let the experts work. In both cases, his massive ego has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

  38. Most conspiracies are, of course, absurd. But the inconsistencies here need answers. To me a big one rarely discussed is the blood.
    Cut your ear even slightly and see how it bleeds. In seconds your neck, collar, hands would be bathed. TFG had a smear of movie-bright red on the top of his ear, the dramatic slash across his cheeks and that’s it. For the ~10 seconds you could clearly see his whole head, that blood was static instead of flowing. Wounds close over hours/days not seconds. So what was that? If it was faked, how did they know they were going to need to fake an injury? This shit needs answers and surprise he wants the dramatic photo op & narrative but no questions or details. Hmmm.

  42. Is it possible for a bullet from an AR15 to “nick” your ear? I would think that even a 1000th of an inch area of contact would vaporize the skin and the shock wave from the bullet would leave considerable soft tissue damage.
