    Is this enough of a reason to retaliate? Or should Israel stay restrained and not escalate, as some people suggest?

  6. 9 Children confirmed dead, supposedly more have died but their parents were not yet informed so the information is not being released until then.
    In total over 35 people hurt, 17 of them in serious or critical condition.

    Do not go on Israeli telegram channels right now unless you want to see arms and legs blown off 10 year olds…

    This kind of event doesn’t leave Nantanyahu and Israel much of a choice in how to act next, I’m guessing the war is going to be significantly expanded in Lebanon in the coming days and weeks

    Status of casualties from Hizbullah’s direct strike on Majdal Shams:

    * 9 dead and 34 wounded, 17 of them in critical/severe condition.
    * 7 of the wounded are children in critical condition.
    * 10 of the wounded are children in serious condition.

  16. Ironically, the Palestinian flag bearer at the Olympic opening ceremonies yesterday wore a shirt showing bombs dropping on kids playing soccer on a sunny day. This was approved by IOC while Israel delegation’s request to wear tiny pins symbolizing the hostages held in Gaza was denied.
