  1. Looks like he finally moved on from “Silence of the Lamb” and watched Mad Max next.

  2. >Democrats have repeatedly pointed to Trump’s statements as an example of him being a “threat” to American democracy. However, Trump’s supporters have suggested that such rhetoric [contributed to the failed assassination attempt](https://www.newsweek.com/biden-hammer-trump-strategy-upended-1924944) against the former president at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.

Fuck you Newsweek. He says the quiet part out loud and you still find a way to make it about Democrats.

  3. You know, I am still on the fence….I really need to know more about Kamala Harris before I make my decision….

  4. It should spark fear. Project 2025, everyone. Trump has been signaling for years that he wants a dictatorship, and now the Heritage Foundation has given him a blueprint for creating one.

  5. Nah. Harris is about to stomp him and his McDonald’s heart and dementia brain will surely give out by 2028. He’s right, they won’t vote anymore because it won’t be for him.

  6. The article seems to also ignore the bit where he says “My beautiful Christian’s. I’m not Christian…”l

  7. For all the hate of everything else odd, guess who the real weirds were all along. Obligatory “Who knew!?”

  8. Sparks fear? Sane, intelligent Americans have been worried since dump was elected in 2016. We’re all the victims of PTSD from an incompetent asshole spreading hate and vengeance. That’s all he has, no policies to help working Americans.

  9. This dude is such a b****h. Hides behind money his whole life but bumps his gums like he is somebody…like he knows about real life, or leadership, or values…

If Biden is too old then Trump is too. The only people he inspires are the same people that carried the confederate flag through the Capitol building. If you want to vote Republican, then I get it…

But if you’re voting FOR Trump…you’re compromised in cognition and character…

  10. Has there been any comment from the Trump campaign at all since then? Surely, the media can’t just let it stand like that. On the face of it, that’s a direct threat to the future of democracy in the United States.

  11. *Everything* about a second term for dump is frightening. Vote!

  12. To anyone who’s fear has been “sparked” by this now, after oh, I dunno, literally everything else he has said and shown you, up to and including Jan 6, I have one question – where the fuck you been?!

  13. Fear? Hell no. Outrage and motivation to do whatever it takes to put this ass hat in the dust bin of history forever. He’s a cancer.

  14. There still are an amazingly large group of the population that think a theocratic oligarchy is a good thing and better than the democratic principals of our founding fathers. This can’t be taken lightly as just another Trumpian blunder, it’s a real threat that has been in strategic planning by “MAGA deep state” if Trump wins office again.

  15. Just remember, it’s mean to call him a fascist for saying fascist things.

  16. Project 2025 writers have plans to have Trump president whether he wins or not and they keep telling all Republicans to prepare to fight. This Prepare To Fight is code for literally get your weapons ready. Also they have plans to do away with two term limits for Presidents and the bought and paid for Supreme Court has everything in place to implement everything trump and Project 2025 desire.

  17. “Sparks fear” get the fuck out of here.

I can’t believe this shit has gone on this long. This asshole is a fucking nazi piece of shit. Anyone who is even considering putting this guy back in power needs to have their head examined. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

  18. I think he’s due for a new person-woman-man-camera-tv cognitive test

  19. I will preface this by saying I’m happy that we as Democrats can run a candidate that people support sincerely, rather than by default. That said, I’ve seen a lot of astroturfers over the last few weeks saying that Dems are losing by talking about fear to inspire turn out.

He’s telling us–after attempting January 6th–that he’s trying to eliminate the right to vote. He installed a Supreme Court that gave him presidential immunity. He has several court cases that he had delayed that will not see the light of day should he be elected.

When has there ever been a more compelling case to be afraid in recent presidential elections?!

  20. Adolf Hitler also made such a statement.

In the lead-up to the 1933 elections in Germany, he promised that if the Nazi Party won, it would be the last election for a long time.

This was part of his strategy to consolidate power and eliminate democratic processes in Germany. Once in power, Hitler moved quickly to dismantle the democratic institutions of the Weimar Republic and establish a totalitarian regime.

  21. Every statement/accusation is a confession. Listen to them

  22. Liz Cheney has been saying for awhile now if Trump ever makes it into the White House he will never leave. He already tried once and the next time he will have all the right people in place to make sure his bid for dictatorship will succeed. And with his Federalist Society fascist judges in the Supreme Court in place they will turn the other cheek for all challenges to his reign.

  23. Casually mentioning he plans to end the Republic, then repeating it for clarity. My family has had a tradition for military service. They sacrificed to defend exactly what he intends to destroy. There will be many that take this very personally.

  24. This should be disqualifying 100%. He’s admitting/promising to commit treason to the American republic. Like seriously… wtf

  25. I think anger is the more appropriate word for the title than fear. Fuck no will I and others here back down from getting out there on messaging and pressing the need to vote after he says tyrannical words like this.

  26. Calm down everyone. All he meant is that if he gains power he will never relinquish it, and will simply abolish the voting process entirely, making all of our lives that much easier.
