Olympic medal table top 10 after day 4

  1. I wish the European Union appeared (at least unofficially, not overrunning each country) to count it’s total of medals. In the summer Olympics at least In Spain we usually do that, and commentators support European athletes when Spaniards are all out. It’s always interesting to see that when united it isn’t that far away from China and the USA

  2. Don’t forget that several athletes were disqualified for ridiculous reasons (“didn’t wear the right clothing’s” – when the Olympic committee was asked about that, all they said was “we received no formal complaint by the athletes, so there is nothing to investigate” – meaning this table could look different if not for China trying to get rid of competition.

  3. Great to see slovenia still being among top 10, even though we only have the population of 2.1 million.

  4. What’s the point of looking at result before the end? These can just change as easily. I’m not a specialist but some countries have specialties and tend to do good on one part of the Olympics only. I would even add the seasonal aspect, some country are good only on winter while some country do okay in both, which makes them better at sports overall.
