Joint toilet in Canary Wharf shopping centre?

  1. Is it a parent and child one? I noticed a few of those when my girls were younger.

  2. Planning permission. There’s a post on reddit by an architect who explained the toilet dilemma in buildings and why this occurs. I’ll try and dig it out. The post that is.

    Edit: can’t find it, but I did discover /r/WeirdToilets which is pretty cool. Will keep looking.

  3. There is a similar 2 loo cubicle at an Oxford gig venue. (Near the bus station.) I can’t think of anyone I’d want to share with though.

  4. Not two toilets. The larger one is to wash your feet in.

  5. This is in the toilet by the Nando’s IIRC. Given how Canary Wharf are so finicky with their image, I’m surprised they approved two uncoordinated toilet basins to be installed.

  6. It’s probs that they need to have X number of toilets in the building and this saves space…
