“He stated that Muslim people had no “choice” but to remain united until the Day of Judgment, saying that followers were on this world “for the pleasure of Allah and for the worship of Allah”. One form of worship, he continued, was selecting appropriate political representatives.”
This kind of lunacy has no place in a modern society. Evangelical Christians that come out with this nonsense are rightly met with scorn, as should this man.
The things that never was going to happen, but keeps happening? It’s not happening actually, please stop noticing
this is just the tip of the iceberg. look into the so called “charities” like Cage, Mend. look at high profile influencers like Mohammed Hijab, Shakeel Afsar etc.
its only going to get worse
Again, very happy to be from Eastern Europe. But hey, “enjoy” your feeling of superiority and the cultural and technological enrichment these Bronze Age tribes men bring to you.
If we are going to look at religious politics, we will need some context.
>The second was to fulfil their religious duty by choosing a “just” representative. He explained: “We have a duty … to select and vote for just people, just leaders, just representatives. So, please, I am not going to stand here begging for your vote. Every person with a sense, with any element of humanity, has seen what is going on, not [since October 7](https://archive.is/o/J2ZMN/https://www.thetimes.com/world/israel-hamas-war), but the last 75 years plus … So please follow your conscience, follow the teachings of the Prophet *sallallahu alayhi wa sallam*If we are going to look at religious politics, we will need some context. [peace be upon him] and vote for a just leader, a just representative.
Your friendly reminder that there is a war going on in Yemen that has killed over 370 000 people where Britains ally Saudi Arabia is fighting. Its is armed by British made weapons including Eurofighters and Tornados. This is a vastly more appropriate conflict to be agitating about in the UK. Saudi money is in many universities and mosques.
The concern for “Palestine” is down to the only non Muslim majority country in the region having control over the al Aqsa mosque. The former Temple of Solomon. This is why so much British based Palestinian solidarity activity has the name al Aqsa

>Since the result, his Labour opponent, Heather Iqbal, has accused his supporters of subjecting her to “abuse and harassment”. In one instance, she said a man in a van followed her while using a megaphone to shout that she was a “Zionist and genocide agent**”. She also says she was victimised because her husband is white**. Mohamed has declined to apologise, saying he neither used “negative tactics” nor condones them.
These stories have been a running theme since the 2005 Bethnal and Bow election where Galloway won over Oona King, followed him through Bradford West and now have been popping up all over the places where these candidates run. Misogyny and racism (Oona King was mixed race black and Jewish.)

The fact any left leaning group supports a religion is just baffling to me.
He was at a mosque and he’s trying to convince those attendees to vote for him. What else was he going to come out with? Not like he’s gonna come out and start slagging God and the Prophet off.
Arent they embarrassed believing in this obvious nonsense???
This is going to be a huge huge huge problem in the UK.
All them people who warned about the Islamification of Britain, don’t listen to them they’re just racist far right conspiracy theorists, what? don’t be silly no Islamic extremists have been elected into UK parliament, nothing to see here folks, close your eyes.
Wait, are we saying the thing now? I didn’t think we were allowed to say the thing.

How is this ok?
But when we call out saying stand up for British values it’s racist.
Is this basically where this country is heading? Because if this type of behaviour isn’t called out it will only continue
Indians still poop on the street. OP is such a giveaway. Is a hindu and hates Muslims and wants some validation
My girlfriend is from Lebanon and not that religious as she spent most of her upbringing in the west. She is of the most liberal type of Islam where rules get bent to a slight degree and she has managed to be atheist without the same consequences as other Muslims I’ve met. However, it is still confounding to me how deeply conservative she is on a personal level, antisemitism seems kind of ingrained and there’s a level of racism and judgement of women that is completely alien to me and how I was raised. I can’t even imagine how strict Sunni Muslims think and behave.
