Biden did no favors to Ukraine, giving them worn out , end of service F16 A1 without the upgraded radar, which is what Ukraine needs. They need the range to get the Russian bombers launching cruise missles

The main goal with F16 is to deter SU34 bombers. SU34 have to fly in att very high altitude and will be detected by ground radars who can give F16 the data. F16 is a launcher of missiles a flying Patriot. This guy gives them other bigger demands. F16 is a part of airdefence not the airdefence.
If Ukraine has reasons to think that F16 would be a useful system providing capabilities they currently don’t have, then it makes sense, independent of what random armchair generals think.
